While there are a few things you can do to prevent sagging skin, and a few that will help sagging skin, an actual home remedy to help sagging skin may be hard to find.

Since the cause of loose and sagging skin is the loss of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, the only real way to fix it is to replenish those lost proteins. This can be hard to do without outside help.

Proper nutrition, exercise and hydration can go a long way to prevent saggy skin, and can even help to reverse loose skin.

Eating a diet rich in fruits, vegetables and whole grains will keep your skin nourished with the vitamins it needs as well as provide some anti-oxidants. Keeping well hydrated will prevent wrinkles and loose skin as well.

Sun damage can also be a major cause of wrinkly sagging skin. Always cover up and use a high SPF sunscreen when you are out in the sun and avoid tanning beds altogether.

UV rays are hard on the skin and cause premature aging of the skin as well as increase your risk of skin cancer.

While not specifically a home remedy to help sagging skin, the best thing you can do is use a good quality anti-aging skin cream every day.

Do not be fooled by all of the great looking products on the shelves though. Most of them are completely ineffective and many are even harmful.

You need a product that is made from all natural ingredients and that is free of harmful chemicals like alcohol, parabens, mineral oil and fragrance.

The products to look for contain ingredients such as Phytessence Wakame, Active Manuka Honey, CynergyTK, natural vitamin E, grape seed oil, D-Panthenol and Nano-Lipobelle H EQ10.

These ingredients will actually benefit your skin by moisturizing and encouraging new growth of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.

Over the years I have always enjoyed getting older. Some have told me that this is crazy talk! When I was young I couldn’t wait to see what the next year would be like and that excitement has never left me. Turning 40 years old was the milestone I was looking forward to the most. It proved to be a stressful year with a few crazy events taking place right before my birthday. By the time my 41st birthday rolled around I started to notice the effects of age on my face. I was in the beginning stages of my road map of wrinkles taking place. I learned from this that although I have always been excited about getting older, now I was actually able to view it in progress. I felt blessed that I had maintained my youthfulness as long as I had but what was causing this process. What could I do to help fight back this process from kicking into high gear?

Some experts say that the secret to aging gracefully is as simple as what we eat. If we eat fruits, vegetables, green tea, and other healthful foods rich in antioxidants and other age-deterring compounds; we provide our bodies with a healthy diet and prevention of age-related or chronic diseases.

As we age, free radicals produce at a higher rate. Free oxygen radicals are created during the metabolism of normal oxygen cells, or oxidation. These free radicals are missing a simple electron and are in search of another molecule that they can combine with and become whole again. In this search, they fire charges that damage other cells. Now it makes more sense to us that the more free radicals our bodies contain the more damage that is likely being done. The best way for us to see this damage is through our normal aging process. Our skin encounters free radicals in many different ways and this effect is clearly obvious as we become older. Antioxidants interact with free radicals and terminate the reaction before cellular damage occurs.

What do we have available to us to use as a defense? I am truly amazed at the power provided to us through foods. The scientific proof behind studies done is overwhelming. We’ve all heard the saying “you are what you eat”. A diet high in anitoxidants may be the proverbial “Fountain of Youth”. This information is imperative to taking care of us from within. A combination of natural plant foods high in antioxidants, like fruits and vegetables has been shown to be the key to a long and healthy life. The Center for Disease Control recognizes this fact and recommends supplementation for those people who cannot or do not eat enough plant-based foods.

The principal vitamin antioxidants are vitamin E, beta-carotene, and vitamin C. Many antioxidants are often identified by their distinctive colors. The deep red of cherries and tomatoes, the orange of carrots, the yellow of corn and mangoes, and the deep blue and purple of blueberries, blackberries, and grapes.

Phytochemicals are non-nutritive plant chemicals that have protective or disease preventive properties. A plant would produce these chemicals to protect itself but research demonstrates that they can protect humans against diseases.  They gobble up free radicals and have other health enhancing effects. anti aging super foods provide us with the phytonutrients that give us optimal health and allows our bodies to operate disease free. Some well known phytochemicals are lycopene in tomatoes, isoflavones in soy, and flavanoids in fruits. Phytochemicals have antioxidant activity and protect our cells against oxidative damage.

To take all of this in on a daily basis may be feasible for some. For others though this may be more difficult. To provide the amount that we need to give our bodies in abundance can create frustration for those that don’t like eating varieties of fruits and veggies. As parents we all have been in situations with our young ones that don’t want to eat this way and because of this their brand new little bodies begin depleting of the most important nutrients.

Our lives are busy and hectic. We have needed to find ways to supplement our bodies when necessary or desirable. Feeding our bodies on a cellular level to help fight against the aging process has been a goal of mine for many years. Supplements have helped me to overcome the problems of getting good organic fresh food out of season. They have also helped my children to maintain optimum health. Aging is in inevitable. But how you look as  you age is totally in your control. Some of us use the time to worry about aging
thus speeding up the process and making our worry lines more pronounced. But the smart people meet aging head on.

As we seek out different methods to stay young such as, products, science or plastic surgery a little common sense not only
will go a long way but it’s probable the least expensive and the most effective.

You’re not watching the years go by are you? Read below for my Five common sense tips that will keep you looking younger
longer. When it comes to aging well or badly, prevention not cure is the smart way to go.

The effects of aging starts showing as early as age 25, which is when you need to start your prevention practices

Dermitage Reviews – anti aging Tips

1. Use cosmetic products that protects you from UV rays.
Prolonged exposure to the sun is the number on cause of of skin cancer and the main factor for skin again. Experts will go as
far as saying over 70% of aging is caused by too much sun exposure.
Light skinned people should use UV screening creams all year round to minimize early wrinkling of the skin.

2. A Daily diet of fruits, vegetables and fish is essential.
Vitamin deficiency is the next leading cause of skin deterioration. Keeping the body sated with all the necessary antioxidants
such as  (vitamins A, E, C and selenium), zinc and copper. Healthy snacks between meals will help keep your properly supplied
and less hungry.

3. Fill up with liquids
Water and natural juices should do the trick. Lessen your intake of coffee and black tea.

Both nicotine and alcohol “steal” the skin’s vitamins and minerals thus leaving it dehydrated and exposed to wrinkle conditions. Smoking should be definitely forbidden because it directly affects the skin, large part of the toxins being eliminated through it. These factors contribute to the whole body aging, also increasing the risks of cancer, arthritis and osteoporosis. Alcohol in moderate quantities isn’t as harmful as tobacco is, unless there’s strict recommendation against it from your doctor.

4.  STOP SMOKING!!
Smoking and drinking alchohol robs the body of its essential vitamins and mineral thus leaving you dehydrated and proned
to wrinkling conditions. Toxins from both are also expelled through the skin thus causing the aging effects.

5. Stress Free
Live by the 8 hour rule. 8 hours of sleep, 8 hours of work and 8 hours of relaxation each day but if you add more relaxation time the better.

Adding more phytonutrients to your diet might just seem like a prescription for more food, more confusion, more to worry about. But in reality, making sure you get enough of the phytonutrient benefit is as easy as adding color, freshness and variety.

Phytonutrients are found naturally in a variety of foods, such as legumes, nuts, teas, fruits, vegetables and grains, but are not considered necessary to sustain life (as are fats, protein, vitamins and minerals). Many people choose to increase phytonutrients in their diet by improved diet as well as nutritional supplementation.

Read More About——->proper nutrition

Phytonutrients are thought to have a variety of beneficial and significant benefits to our health. Eating more whole foods in the form of fruits and vegetables and the like can benefit you by protecting you from cancer and certain diseases. In addition, it’s believed that phytonutrients can improve cell-to-cell communication within the body, possibly repair DNA damage from smoking and other toxic substances, and strengthen the immune system.

So how do you add more phytonutrients to your diet? It’s as easy as adding color, variety and freshness.

Color – When you think of phytonutrients, think color. Think of the bright red of a perfectly ripe tomato, or the rich redness of a summer grape. Although fruits and vegetables are the best source of nutrient-dense phytonutrients, most Americans get woefully low amounts of fresh produce in their diets. According to the USDA, while it’s recommended we get at least 5-7 servings of fruits and vegetables daily, most Americans get little more than 3 servings. Of that, deep yellow and dark green vegetables account for only 0.2 daily servings on average.

Yet it’s the richly colored vegetables and fruits that provide the best sources of phytonutrients. If your grocery cart isn’t full of color (and that doesn’t include colored Goldfish crackers), add some next time you’re shopping.

Variety — Although fruits and vegetables are the best sources of phytonutrients, they aren’t the only source. So while you want to add a lot of color to your diet in the form of nutrient-dense fruits and vegetables like berries, grapes, tomatoes, peppers, spinach and the like, think about adding other sources of phytonutrients as well. Consider adding a glass of tea at lunch or dinner or some chopped pecans or slivered almonds to your oatmeal in the morning.

Freshness – There is much debate on the value of fresh vegetables versus frozen. It’s fair to say everyone agrees that canned holds little nutritional content, so adding can of veggies to your cart isn’t the best plan (this excludes canned tomatoes which retain the freshness and nutrient value of fresh). But in a pinch, or in the off season, frozen vegetables can certainly be included in your daily diet. Frozen fruits are always fine, as long as they are whole, unprocessed and without added sugar.
