How do you go about looking after the skin on your face? Do you have a daily balanced skin care regimen, or take a more hit and miss approach by using a cream or lotion whenever it occurs to you.

The problem with the hit and miss approach is it eventually catches up with you resulting in poorer skin quality and more fine lines and wrinkles later on. This is especially the case with many men who have no plan at all for caring for their facial skin.

Why I can say this with such conviction is because up until a couple of years ago I did absolutely nothing at all to look after my skin. Now it’s caught up with me and I have far more than my fair share of deepish wrinkles and other skin issues. On the other hand, my wife has beautiful skin because she did the right thing and looked after her complexion starting in her teens.

My message is — if you don’t care for your face properly with a balanced skin care plan, your skin will more than likely look pretty old, wrinkled and ordinary like mine in middle age and beyond. Many people scoff and say it will never happen to me because my complexion is so youthful looking, smooth, wrinkle free and beautiful. What I say to you is enjoy it while it lasts — because it won’t unless you are smart and do something positive about it now!

The silly thing is — it is so easy to apply a little natural skin cream on your face every day. The full blown day, night, body, eye serum and masks regimen is the obviously best way to go if you can afford to, and are willing to put in the time. However even just a blob of face cream rubbed in once a day, gives your skin the moisture and antioxidants it needs to stay healthier.

Of course reducing any existing wrinkles at the same time is a bonus, so it is wise to seek out a range of creams to help to do this. The best ones have ingredients that can stimulate new collagen and elastin cell growth, increasing these proteins is the most important and effective way to maintain and improve your skin’s structure, strength and elasticity.

So think about starting a daily balanced skin care regimen, even if it is a moderate one consisting of only a day cream at first.

So what do we mean by a smart skin care regimen? — Well to my way of thinking there is always a good effective way of doing something giving positive results, or conversely a bad ineffective way giving poor results.

When it comes to skin care — let’s look at a few important issues:

Firstly you should use good safe natural ingredients instead of suspect chemical and synthetic ingredients. Often the price will be roughly the same, but the effectiveness and long-term results will be greatly different.

Do you already have a smart skin care regimen in place, where you use a day and night cream, body lotion and eye serum every day, plus alternate between a cleansing and hydrating mask fortnightly.

Or are you more inclined to be the hit and miss type — by that I mean, you buy a day skin cream, then only remember to use it occasionally, yet still have the expectation that it will make a big difference.

Are you covering all the bases with the creams you already use? — Do they have excellent active moisturizing ingredients, which are arguably the most important ingredients in any decent skin cream.

What about anti-aging, anti-wrinkle substances? — If the creams you use don’t have any that actually work, you will eventually get more fine lines and wrinkles, quicker than if you used a cream containing proven effective collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid cell building ingredients.

The best skin creams on the market will contain several varieties of natural antioxidants to help reduce cell damage caused by the environment, particularly the suns UV rays, which cause oxidative stress to your skin tissue cells. Protecting your face from the sun as much as possible is also a very smart move.

Make no mistake about it, a hit and miss skin care approach will give you poor disappointing results. On the other hand with a little planning, discipline and by only using the best natural skin creams you can buy. You can reasonably expect to see a positive rejuvenation and softening of your skin, which will hopefully make you feel great and look a little younger.

The majority of people realize maintaining the skin under and around their eyes is key to looking youthful for as long as possible. That’s why you should always use the best under eye firming serum ensuring you get the most out of your daily facial regimen.

If you are middle aged or older targeting and revitalizing your eye area is absolutely essential. There are several options and procedures available, however some are expensive and can involve inconvenience and sometimes-considerable pain. That’s why I prefer to use the most simple and easy method — the best under eye firming serum available that’s natural, affordable and effective.

Obviously what separates the best cream from the also-rans is down to the blend, quantity and quality of the active ingredients used. Common sense would suggest we find and use only effective proven ingredients in our eye cream or serum.

For well over a year now I have used what I think is the best natural brand of eye serum because of the positive results. However my expectation will undoubtedly be different to yours. The improvement to the skin under and around my eyes has to be around 35 – 40% from when I started. This amount satisfies my needs, but I still have the appropriate amount of wrinkling and sagging for someone my age.

If you have sagging and wrinkles in this area and expect to completely remove them by using any type of eye firming serum then I think you are probably kidding yourself a little, and suggest you will likely waste your money using one. If this is the case maybe you should consider a surgical face-lift or the temporary option of collagen or Botox injections.

However if you are likely to be satisfied with a more moderate improvement to your eye skin area — think about giving these natural anti-aging ingredients a try.

Halyoxl™ targets the build up of hemoglobin and other waste products in skin under your eyes. Eyeliss™ targets bags and wrinkles due to loss of elasticity as well as fluid build-up because of poor drainage. Homeo Age™ a unique algae extract stimulates cellular growth to help reduce wrinkles around your delicate eye skin.

Functional keratin™ and Nano-Lipobelle H-EQ10 are both special natural ingredients proven to stimulate re-growth of collagen and elastin protein cells in your dermal structural layer. Using them helps make the skin under and around your eyes stronger and more elasticized, which contributes to a more healthy and youthful complexion.
