In this article today I would like to share a few tips, tricks, and techniques that you can use to quickly and easily make your skin look young again no matter how old you are.

As a society we spend billions of dollars every year buying every imaginable form of cosmetic product to help make us look young and healthy. Are we spending our money wisely? In this article today I’m going to discuss several things you can do to help your skin look young again.

First I’d like to discuss how to repair minor sun damage. The fact of the matter is that years and years of exposure to the sun can leave your skin looking wrinkled and full of lines. The best thing you can do for minor sun damage is to use a prescription called tretinoin or Retin-A.  It can often take several months to have any sort of noticeable effect, but it does help reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Amazingly enough it also promotes the growth of new tissues.

The downside is that it can sometimes cause certain types of skin irritation which may require you to use it less often.

Next I would like to discuss more severe sun damage. If you do have more severe skin damage a skin peel may be necessary. What this involves is basically not all that complicated. What you do is apply acid to burn off the damaged outer layer of skin. Of course this is not something you would do yourself but rather it is something that your dermatologist will do at their office in a medical environment.

Of course there are some drawbacks when it comes to this sort of technique. The most obvious is the pain. An acid peel can be incredibly painful and they can leave your skin raw and red for many days. Most people tend to hide out after they’ve had the procedure done until their skin gets back to normal.

If acid peels aren’t your cup of tea then you might try another technique. When you get right down to it, the most effective way to remove wrinkles and severe sun damage is something that’s known as laser resurfacing. With laser resurfacing a doctor actually uses a laser to vaporize the outer layer of your skin. It sounds very high-tech and I guess it is at that. It will a remove wrinkles as well as brown spots and even precancerous cells sometimes. The downside is that it involves almost 2 weeks of recovery time.

Of course the best thing is to avoid skin problems to begin with by leading a life away from the sun as much is possible. Of course hindsight is 2020 and most of us no longer have this option but if you’re starting at a young age it may be well worth it to consciously avoid the sun as much as possible.

So there you have several tips tricks and techniques that you can use to make your skin look young again.

As we age, our skin begins to lose it’s natural glow and shine. Rather than remaining tight, smooth, and beautiful, it starts to sag, wrinkle, and become prune-like, thereby making us look much older than we are or feel. Cosmetic companies know we need a solution to this problem, so they keep releasing “Guaranteed To Work” wrinkle creams in the hope of making a quick buck off of us. Do these anti wrinkle creams work? No, but that doesn’t stop us from buying them by the truckload, as we’ll do almost anything in the hopes of removing facial wrinkles.

Stop Listening to the Ads and Start Following the Science

Just because a celebrity — such as Jennifer Garner, Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton, Etc. — recommends a cosmetic product, that doesn’t make it effective; it makes it a paid endorsement, nothing more and nothing less. If you make a decision based on what they say, you’re only wasting your money and time, as they are not in any way wrinkle cream experts.

If you want to begin removing facial wrinkles, then you have to follow the true science of wrinkle creams and how they help to reduce wrinkles and finelines. You must discover what ingredients actually help fight wrinkles and the signs of aging; Vitamin E, Green Tea, Hyaluronic Acid, Etc.  Admittedly, you don’t have to be an expert on the topic, but some basic, fundamental knowledge will be necessary.

By learning what makes a top quality wrinkle cream truly effective, you’ll be able to find the wrinkle cream that perfectly suits your unique skin type and needs.

Think Long Term, Not Short Term

A quick acting wrinkle cream is not the best solution for removing facial wrinkles; no matter what you may have been told. You have to consider the use of a wrinkle cream on a long term basis, not merely short term.

It’s great if a wrinkle cream can significantly reduce wrinkles for today, but what about tomorrow? What happens when the cream wears off, will your skin be in an even worse condition, or will it be healthier as a whole?  You have to really give this some thought, as you’re goal shouldn’t just be to have wrinkle free skin — it should be to have healthier, wrinkle free skin.

Think in Terms of Quality, Not Expense

If paying that little extra gets you better results from an anti wrinkle cream, then just pony up the cash. Staying within your budget and buying cheaper wrinkle creams may be convenient for your financial situation, but it isn’t for your wrinkle problem. Skimping on the price may actually result in the cream not having some much needed anti-wrinkle cream ingredients — the ones that are clinically proven to get rid of wrinkles and finelines.

Does this mean you should spend a fortune on wrinkle creams? No — it simply means you can’t base your decision solely on cost. If you do, removing facial wrinkles will be all the more difficult.
